This is made of aramid, used for easy removal of the cable jacket. The ripcords are manufactured from aramid continuous filament fiber and are twisted and coated with a non-wick resin and optional color pigment. Ripcords are available in long continuous lengths and can be supplied on a variety of packages.
All coatings are water based and environmentally safe for easy removal of the cable jacket cuts through corrugated steel tape and aluminium foil can be used in almost any kind of cable for easy access to the cable core.
